How to write emails people want to read

You get up and, before you’ve even started your work, you’re greeted by a barrage of emails. You work your way through them, one by one, working out which one’s are worth your time and which ones aren’t. Finally, you reach the end of the line and can finally crack on with your actual work, when you realize it’s 3 am and you have 4 hours left before it starts all over again.
